He graduated and coffered MD degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2003 and subsequently pursued his postgraduate qualification, Master of Medicine (Forensic Pathology) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and graduated in the year 2013. He has undergone Advanced Competency Program (Forensic Pathology) at Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, Melbourne Australia in 2019.
